Weekend Reading: Atlanta Home Improvement

If y’all will allow it, I’m going to indulge in a little bit of shameless self-promotion. I really am excited, though, to share this news! Blogging has confirmed 2 things for me. 1-I’m passionate about interior design. 2-I love writing. I always knew this, but blogging is just a daily reminder. Now I get to spend even more time combining these 2 loves as a magazine writer! My first published piece is in the October issue of Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, available now (for free!) at Whole Foods and other locations all over Atlanta.

AHI is a dream to work with, a super-informative magazine with a pulse on what Atlanta homeowners need. For this article, we discussed the elements of an ideal master bedroom suite. I was able to shine a spotlight on some truly talented people in the local design community, and it couldn’t have been more fun. I want to encourage you to check out those participating, including Pineapple House Interior Design, Milk & Honey Home, Sherry Hart, Gramercy Fine Linens & Furnishings, and Brian Patterson Designs.  It will put a smile on my face if you pick up a copy today!
