One of my favorite things about Twitter so far is the instant connectivity I have with like-minded bloggers, designers and writers. It’s nice to be able to see everything that’s going on at a glance. I discovered that it’s Autumn Colors Week over at one of my favorite blogs, Poppytalk! They have a Flickr group where members can upload their favorite autumn photos they’ve taken, corresponding to a different color each day. I’m a little late to the party, missing green, orange and yellow this week, but my love affair with orange and yellow has already been documented here at decorativity. Below are my humble submissions for today, Red day! You all know I’m more of a product-focused girl, and I’m a complete newbie in my photography skills. But it’s still such fun!
The leaves havent’ turned here yet (!!) so I went with some non-traditional scenes. The pile of pillows is from my favorite local antique store, where I recently went on a photography excursion with a friend…I will post more about that soon! The branches are just a decorative item I have that I’ve gotten a lot of use from. And I don’t know if salsa is autumnal, but I love the sunset colors! I’m thinking my next “Color Wheel” post will definitely have to feature red products. Head over to Poppytalk this morning and check out the wonderful collection of red photos. Autumn is here in full swing!
